Commissioner Samurai responds to El Flaco Loco's challenge!

This was posted, by Commissioner Samurai, following the February 28th SPW show!

I would like to respond to El Flaco Loco's challenge for a Hardcore Cage Match at the March 28th show....Thanks, but no thanks. That type of match is fine for people like Flaco and Ugly... they are like that. They model themselves after Sabu and people of his ilk. Me? I am a fan of the work of Dean Malenko. Dean would never do a Hardcore Cage match. Nor shall I. There is simply no reason for me to take part in such a barbaric match. But, I will give you a tag team match. On March 12 Handsome Jack SIRSAMURAl [3:23 AM]: Dalton and I will team to face El Flaco Loco and the Big Ugly JD Bishop... in a good, old fashion tag team contest.

The Iron Saints heading for NWA-TNA!

IWS members Vito and Sal Thomaselli are heading to NWA TNA on April 28th. They will be wrestling on the TNA Xplosion show (the nationally syndicated show that airs on some cable and satellite networks). A big congratulations to the Iron Saints, the current SPW Tag Team Champions.

Bulldog Brian Raymond - Out of the IWS!

Bulldog Brian Raymond has left the IWS already. After helping Sir Samurai defeat El Flaco Loco to become Commissioner Samurai last month it seemed clear that Bulldog was the latest member of the IWS. At the February 14th show Bulldog actually attacked Commissioner Samurai, following a match between Bulldog and the Big Ugly JD Bishop. Commissioner Samurai announced following the show that Bulldog was now considered an enemy of the IWS.

First match set for SPW Feb 28th show!

At the Valentine's Day show El Flaco Loco pinned Sir.... Commissioner Samurai in a tag team match. Due to a pre-match stipulation this means that El Flaco Loco gets to make the matches for the 28th. He announced right away that Commissioner Samurai would be facing the Big Ugly JD Bishop. Commissioner Samurai said no problem.... but it would be a Lumber Jack Match..... and it would have a special guest referee.... Handsome Jack Dalton.

Rage and Steel earn UWA Tag Title shots!

Rage and Steel to get a tag team title shot. At the UWA event held on February 7 Rage defeated the Enforcer Jesse Graham in a Lumber Jack Match. Because of a pre match stipulation Rage's victory earned he and Full Metal Jacket partner a tag team title shot at the UWA champions. No word on when they will be receiving that title shot.

The Iron Saints represent well at
PWG Tag Tournament!

The Iron Saints, along with Sir Samurai, have returned from Los Angeles after working the two day, sixteen team, Tango and Cash Invitational Tag Team Tournament for the Pro Wrestling Guerilla group. The first day saw the Saints advance over the team of Sara Del Ray and Apollo Kahn in the "sleeper match of the night." The second night saw them go down to the team of CM Punk and Chris Hero in the second round, in a match that went over 22 minutes.

"Even" Steve Currie fired from I.W.S.!
But Samurai pays for it...

At the recent SPW show, on January 17, 'Even' Steve Currie was fired from the IWS, for, as Samurai said, not pulling his weight, for the Syndicate. After a brief scuffle, in which Samurai was knocked down by an inadvertent blow, Currie was fired, and then attacked by The Syndicate members. He managed to escape up the aisle, and out of the building, not to be seen for the rest of the night!

Steve had been in the middle of a long losing streak, costing the IWS a lot of important matches, in the first few weeks of their advancement efforts! Sir Samurai blames him, and him alone for the problems that the Syndicate has been having. When Samurai was asked, after the show, in the Locker Room, about his thoughts on losing Currie...

"I'm the one who fired him, idiot! Good Riddance!"

"Bulldog" Brian Raymond joins Syndicate!

Saturday, at the Colonial Theater, The Syndicate gained a huge boost in talent, and locker room respect, when former SPW Heavyweight Champion, Bulldog Brian Raymond decided to join the Syndicate.

He made his decision known, by dishing Bruce Bukakke a helping of his finisher, The Burning Hammer. Bulldog is the longest reigning Heavyweight Champion, in SPW history, and the odds take a turn in the IWS' favor, thanks to their newest member! Look for him to make an immediate impact in the near future.

SPW Commissionership at stake
in Jan 31st SPW Main Event!

It was announced at the last show that the main event of the January 31 SPW will feature the leader of the Lucha Libre Mafia (and Team Supreme) El Flaco Loco taking on the leader of the Independent Wrestling Syndicate Sir Samurai for control of SPW.

The match will be a Contract on a Pole Match and which ever wrestler gets the contract, will gain the outstanding vote of The Big Ugly, J.D.Bishop, and will be the new commissioner of SPW.

Needless to say we here at the main offices of the IWS are pulling for Samurai and we have total faith in him.

Newest member of Syndicate
gains Television deal!

Bulldog Brian Raymond, the newest member of the Syndicate will not be at the next SPW show (January 31) as he will be in Oregon competing at a Portland Wrestling television taping. Bulldog will journey to Portland the last weekend of every month to do a month's worth of television taping. We look forward to his return to SPW at the February 13 show.

Rage and Steel to work UWA show

On February 7, IWS members Rage and Steel are booked to work a UWA show, in Yuba City, California. On the same card as the Syndicate boys, is former WWF Intercontinental Champion, The Honky Tonk Man! We, here at the IWS, wish them luck, and have faith in them, to represent well!
